Description

You will lead the deployment and integration of Secure IoT firewalls into brokerage systems and provide L3 operational support for cloud-native and third-party network security solutions. You will manage incident response, implement monitoring for infrastructure resilience, and maintain operational runbooks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, deployment, and integration of Secure IoT firewalls into business-as-usual brokerage systems.
• Provide L3 operational support, incident management, and troubleshooting for GCP cloud-native and third-party vendor firewalls.
• Implement monitoring to ensure healthy and resilient infrastructure, including potential off-hour on-call coverage.
• Create and supplement operational runbooks and assist in knowledge transfer to global teammates.
• Coordinate designs and documentation with external vendors and internal technology teams.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of network security administration experience, preferably in Financial Services.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT equivalent.
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, NAT, packet filtering, and stateful packet inspection.
• Experience with cloud environments, specifically GCP cloud-native firewalls.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Shell scripts, or Ansible; familiarity with GitHub.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: routing, switching, VLANs, OSI model, and TCP stack.
• Experience with host security (iptables, host-based firewalls) and change management.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Juniper firewall platforms.
• Understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and static routing.
• Experience in customer support and interacting with business users.
