Description

You will manage and secure the organization's network infrastructure, overseeing daily operations and complex incident response.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks for security breaches and lead incident response and forensic investigations.
• Conduct periodic network scans, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation based on penetration testing.
• Install and manage security tools including firewalls, data encryption, and privileged access management.
• Develop security standards, best practices, and recovery strategies to enhance security posture.
• Provide technical support for network systems and manage vendor support cases.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in IT network and security engineering and support.
• 5+ years of firewall configuration experience, including Policy, NAT, and VPN (L2L, RA, SSL).
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco routing and switching, with deep understanding of L2 and L3.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Citrix NetScaler.
• Proficiency with Linux, command line tools, troubleshooting, and RHEL.
• Experience with low-level packet-level network and application protocol analysis.
• Strong understanding of SSH port forwarding and SNMP-based monitoring systems.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Technical proficiency in Perl, Python, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Palo Alto, Cisco, Citrix, and Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Arista network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Nagios or Grafana.
