Description

You will provide engineering and operational support for micro-segmentation platforms within a private cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of micro-segmentation platforms with a focus on DevOps for infrastructure changes and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot NSX issues related to ESX and vCenter.
• Collaborate with platform and software engineers to improve build and run posture.
• Work with internal IT teams to resolve complex network and security issues.
• Manage system configurations and infrastructure using industry standard tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering and security roles.
• Hands-on experience with VMware NSX management, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of NSX Managers, Controllers, Logical Switches, Transport Zones, and DFW.
• Operational experience with the NSX REST API.
• Strong understanding of firewall concepts and network engineering.
• Proficiency with Linux OS and VMware virtualization technologies, including ESX and vCenter.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tooling such as Chef and Jenkins.
• Ability to produce quality technical documentation.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with Illumio PCE, CheckPoint, VMware Aria Operations, and Ansible.
