Description

You will provide engineering and operational support for Micro-Segmentation platforms within a private cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Micro-Segmentation platforms with a focus on DevOps for infrastructure changes and monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot NSX issues related to ESX, vCenter, NSX Managers, Controllers, Logical Switches, Transport Zones, and the DFW.
  • Collaborate with platform and software engineers to improve build and run postures.
  • Resolve complex technical issues by working across internal IT teams and customer groups.
  • Manage system configurations and infrastructure using industry-standard tools.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering and security.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware NSX management, deployment, and configuration in large-scale environments.
  • Operational experience with the NSX REST API.
  • Knowledge of VMware virtualization, including ESX and vCenter.
  • Familiarity with VMware Aria Operations and CheckPoint operations.
  • Basic Linux OS skills.
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools including Chef, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

  • Python scripting for automation.
  • Experience with Illumio PCE.
