Description

Design, implement, and manage Palo Alto firewall solutions to secure enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama for centralized management.
• Develop and implement firewall rules, policies, and security configurations using App-ID, User-ID, and Threat Prevention.
• Manage site-to-site and client-to-site VPNs using GlobalProtect and Palo Alto platforms.
• Monitor firewall logs to detect threats, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot network security incidents.
• Execute routine updates, patches, and firmware upgrades to maintain optimal performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in network security engineering with a focus on Palo Alto Networks.
• Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect.
• Deep knowledge of App-ID, Content-ID, User-ID, and Threat Prevention features.
• Strong proficiency in networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience managing VPN technologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• PCNSE, CCNA, or CISSP certifications.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for hybrid cloud security integration.
