Network Security Engineer

You will own the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of network security infrastructure and compliant network solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot network security infrastructure including firewalls, load balancers, client VPN, wireless, and access layer controls.
• Manage the network security product change lifecycle from definition through delivery and results assessment.
• Execute day-to-day operational security changes to firewalls, IDS/IPS, and ACL configurations.
• Lead extensive troubleshooting efforts involving switch, router, and firewall analysis.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Compliance, and Operations teams to develop consistent technical solutions and support processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of network experience with success in building compliant network solutions.
• AWS networking expertise including VPC, NAT Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and WAF.
• Deep knowledge of Network VPN, Firewalls, SSL Inspection, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, and 802.1X.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco datacenter switches, ASR routers, multicast routing, and ISE/NAC.
• Proficiency with F5 Big-IP GTM, load balancing, and Next Gen Firewalls.
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), NAC, Proxy, IDS/IPS, and port security.
• Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Experience managing PCI and PCI DSS compliance activities.
• Working knowledge within a mature ITSM environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python and Terraform.
