Description

You will maintain the Security Operations Center posture and handle priority one circuit outages during weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of Security Operations incidents, requests, and enterprise change management tickets.
• Monitor and maintain firewalls, IPS, Cisco Umbrella, ISE, and VPN tunnels.
• Troubleshoot network and security issues using Wireshark, interface captures, and log searching.
• Execute firewall cleanup processes and maintain SOC process documentation.
• Evaluate, plan, and implement monthly patches and upgrades for network devices and security tools.
• Research CVEs and security advisories to ensure device coverage and mitigate risks.
• Open and manage vendor TAC cases, primarily with Cisco, to resolve device issues.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience configuring and administering Cisco ASA Firewalls.
• 3+ years of experience configuring and administering Cisco FTD Firewalls.
• 3+ years of experience with IPS/IDS Snort engines, SIEM, and Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• 3+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management.
• 3+ years of experience with IPsec, enterprise network topology, routers, switches, NAT, and DNS.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP architecture and functionality.
• Proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office for documentation and tracking.
• Ability to work independently on short and long-term project goals.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco CCNP Security or CISSP certifications.
• Cisco CCNP Routing and Switching or CCNP Security.
