Description

Key Responsibilities

Provision and deploy Proxmox-based virtualization systems and prebuilt virtual machines.

Build, configure, and support Cisco network environments, including routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and security infrastructure.

Install, commission, decommission, and maintain physical servers, network switches, and supporting hardware.

Monitor and maintain network performance, availability, and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, firewall, VPN, and infrastructure-related issues.

Manage and support Cisco ASR routers, Cisco Wireless Controllers, and other Cisco networking platforms.

Respond to incidents, service requests, and escalations through the IT ticketing system.

Perform upgrades, patches, firmware updates, and routine maintenance activities.

Assist with system administration tasks and contribute to continuous improvements across the IT environment.

Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices.

Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and changes.

Required Qualifications

CCNA certification or equivalent networking education and experience.

3-4 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks and infrastructure.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.

Experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and security devices.

Experience provisioning and supporting virtualized environments.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service.

Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment and handling physical hardware installation and removal.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Proxmox virtualization platforms.

Exposure to firewall administration and network security best practices.

Experience supporting Cisco ASR routers and enterprise wireless environments.

Knowledge of server administration, virtualization, and storage technologies.

Familiarity with scripting or automation tools for infrastructure administration
