Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Client NSX-T Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise firewall and network security environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Client NSX-T (mandatory), along with knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, network segmentation, distributed firewall policies, and infrastructure security troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Client NSX-T security and networking components, including distributed firewalls, gateways, and network segments.
• Administer and support Palo Alto firewall platforms, including policy configuration, NAT rules, and security optimization.
• Troubleshoot Client NSX-T segments, distributed gateway firewall issues, and IDPS (Intrusion Detection and Prevention System) related incidents.
• Manage and optimize NSX-T IDS/IPS architecture and ensure effective threat detection and prevention.
• Implement and support NAT configurations, distributed routing, and firewall rules within NSX-T environments.
• Perform network troubleshooting across DNS, load balancers, routing, switching, and connectivity issues.
• Analyze and resolve network performance and security incidents in complex virtualized environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to design and implement secure network solutions.
• Monitor firewall health, security logs, and alerts to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and network diagrams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Client NSX-T (mandatory).
• Expertise in Palo Alto Firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Client NSX-T IDS/IPS (IDPS) architecture.
• Strong understanding of NSX segments, distributed firewalls, NAT, and gateway configurations.
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, DNS, load balancers, and routing issues.
• Knowledge of enterprise network security principles and firewall policy management.
• Familiarity with virtualized data center networking and micro-segmentation concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Client NSX certifications (preferred).
• Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA/PCNSE) are a plus.
• Experience in enterprise or cloud-based network security environments
