Description

You own the configuration, support, and maintenance of network security platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FortiGate, FortiSASE, and Akamai WAF platforms.
• Troubleshoot firewall policies, traffic flows, and complex network connectivity issues.
• Implement FortiSASE components including ZTNA, SWG, CASB, and FWaaS.
• Monitor security events, performance, and availability using centralized tools.
• Update firewall rules and security policies to address evolving threats.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in network security engineering and firewall administration.
• Hands-on experience with FortiSASE and Fortinet security solutions.
• Solid understanding of ZTNA, SWG, CASB, FWaaS, and DLP concepts.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, and routing protocols.
• Experience with SD-WAN and secure remote access technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience implementing SASE or cloud-delivered security solutions.
• Fortinet certifications (NSE 4 or higher).
