Description

You will lead network security operations and infrastructure management from our Richmond, VA location.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fortinet, Check Point, and Palo Alto firewalls, including policy creation, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
• Configure and maintain Forcepoint proxy solutions and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Tune security rules and manage policies for Fortinet Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Analyze security incidents and utilize monitoring tools like syslog and SIEM platforms to maintain network integrity.
• Implement network segmentation, encryption, and least privilege security principles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security and infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise with Fortinet, Check Point, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of Forcepoint proxy configuration and management.
• Experience with Fortinet WAF policy management and rule tuning.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP protocols.
• Proficiency in routing, switching, and general network configuration.
• Experience using syslog and SIEM platforms for monitoring and logging.

Preferred Skills

• Fortinet NSE 4/5, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, or Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE certifications.
• Forcepoint certification.
