Description

You will serve as a technical authority for large-scale network design, implementation, and administration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale networks using Cisco and Arista technologies.
• Administer network hardware, virtualization, and routing across multiple environments.
• Execute deployment work during weekend maintenance windows from Friday through late Saturday night.
• Present network designs to stakeholders, articulate technical risks, and facilitate decision-making.
• Drive enterprise-level initiatives across different regions and cultures.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Expertise in Ethernet technologies including STP, 802.1Q, VPC, Multilayer Switching, and Leaf-Spine IP Fabric.
• Advanced IP Routing knowledge: RIP, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, and TCP/IP.
• Multicast routing proficiency: PIEM, IGMP, and MSDP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 Series and Arista switching platforms.
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR, and Arista EOS.
• Experience with VXLAN, SDN, SD-WAN, or DMVPN.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile-Kanban workflows.
• Strong understanding of security concepts, including defense in depth, risks, and controls.

Preferred Skills

• CCIE or equivalent certification.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python and Ansible.
• Proficiency in UNIX or Linux.
