Description

You will lead the assessment and optimization of datacenter network infrastructure, tools, and processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess datacenter switching and routing topologies to document observations and identify required improvements.
• Review HLD and LLD documents for LAN, WAN, and remote access connectivity.
• Evaluate current remote access VPN infrastructure and security standards to recommend necessary changes.
• Drive datacenter assessment recommendations, planning, and the documentation of single points of failure.
• Review network device configuration backup processes and assess QoS requirements for various applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure assessment and design.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco 3-tier architecture and spine-and-leaf architectures.
• Experience with Fortinet firewall installation and configuration.
• Hands-on experience configuring load balancers and VPNs.
• Proficiency with Solarwinds Suite (Infrastructure & App Monitoring Tools) and Solarwinds Server and Application Monitor.
• Experience using ScienceLogic and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
• Ability to review and update DR networking designs to meet business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing LAN, WAN, and remote access connectivity architectures.
