Description

You will develop scalable, fault-tolerant network software for highly distributed systems, owning the packet routing and forwarding datapaths.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain network software focused on packet routing and forwarding datapaths.
• Develop distributed systems that prioritize fault tolerance and scalability.
• Own technical intent and communicate clearly within a fully remote team.
• Optimize network I/O performance and system reliability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Go, C, or C++.
• Strong understanding of the OSI network model.
• Experience with Linux networking and network I/O performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, gRPC, Docker, and MySQL.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with eBPF, XDP, and Open vSwitch.
• Background in firewall or web security development.
