Description

You will design and develop manageability features for a next-generation Network OS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manageability features using solid design principles and Test Driven Development.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions to customers.
• Work within Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure system reliability through rigorous testing and engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in programming and Linux OS administration.
• Strong understanding of data structures and Inter-Process Communication (IPC) mechanisms.
• Experience with REST, NETCONF, Streaming Telemetry, GNMI, and gRPC.
• Familiarity with YANG, JSON, XML, and Protocol Buffers.
• Knowledge of microservice-based architecture, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with messaging services such as RabbitMQ and NATS.
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database concepts.
• Knowledge of L2/L3 OSI layer protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing network operating systems or working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Contributions to open-source networking projects.
• Familiarity with cloud-native deployment, network virtualization, or performance tuning.
