Description

You will design, develop, and optimize carrier-class networking and system software for datacenter switching products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain networking and system software components using C and C++.
• Lead the development and deployment of switching software, including architectural and functional design specifications.
• Debug complex system-level issues using deep knowledge of Linux kernel and OS concepts.
• Mentor junior engineers in technical problem solving and guide development through the entire project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets real-life network deployment requirements.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience in networking and system software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel, OS concepts, and system debugging techniques.
• Experience with CPU complex (x86), PCIe, SPI, I2C, MDIO, FPGA, CPLD, and Flash Drivers.
• Knowledge of Ethernet interfaces (1G to 400G+, including 800G, 1.6T), MacSec, Timing, and Optics (SFP, QSFP, QDD, OSFP).
• Experience with high-speed packet forwarding using network processors, PHYs, and SerDes.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunication engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with SONiC architecture and development.
• Experience developing software for forwarding ASICs, FPGAs, and Network Processors.
