Description

You will own the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of routing and switching infrastructure using Cisco technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze network architectures to ensure minimal service impact during refresh activities.
• Configure Cisco router and switch templates for new and legacy deployments.
• Perform SNMP, syslog, NTP, and NetFlow testing and validation.
• Research and resolve network issues, including opening TAC cases and identifying root causes.
• Manage decommissioning tasks by removing legacy configurations, unused IP subnets, and updating network diagrams.
• Coordinate after-hours changes, manage change tickets, and pursue necessary approvals.

Required Skills

• Minimum twelve years of experience in the networking field.
• Hands-on experience with BGP, MPLS, and OSPF routing protocols in large-scale environments.
• Experience reviewing project designs and system documents for at least 4 years.
• Proficiency with SNMPv3, Syslog, and Netflow.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Valid, current CCNP certification.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and NCS products, including QoS implementation.
• Knowledge of optical technology, fiber types, and attenuation.
• Experience designing network architectures in MS Visio.
