Description

You will manage and optimize network architecture, infrastructure, and security in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan network architecture while performing maintenance on hardware and software.
• Install, support, and test LAN/WAN, including switches, routers, wireless, optical, and firewalls.
• Mitigate potential network attacks to ensure system security.
• Resolve network hardware and software issues by working directly with end users and vendors.
• Respond to help desk tickets and participate in the Network Team On-Call program.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and advanced IP routing technology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, and LAN/WAN technologies.
• Proven troubleshooting skills within complex network environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Active Cisco CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE routing and switching certification.
