Description

You will manage and operate large-scale, high-availability network infrastructures. You implement and maintain complex LAN/WAN switching and routing configurations while ensuring network security through intrusion detection and prevention systems. You optimize performance using QoS and traffic management techniques, and configure WAN accelerators and load balancers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate large-scale LAN/WAN switching and routing configurations.
• Manage network security through intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Maintain centralized monitoring and management for switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Optimize network performance using QoS and LAN traffic management techniques.
• Configure and support WAN accelerators and load balancers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network operations.
• Expert knowledge of LAN technologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with core Internet routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with VTP, VLAN, VPN, MPLS, and P2P networking.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and information system security principles.
• Experience managing WAN accelerators like Riverbed or similar products.
• Experience configuring F5 load balancers or similar technologies.
• Practical knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems.
