Description

You will provide Level 2/3 support for network incidents, service requests, and performance issues across LAN/WAN environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN/WAN environments, VPN, wireless networks, and firewall systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VoIP systems.
• Configure, upgrade, and manage patches/firmware for network devices.
• Manage network monitoring and alerting systems and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and runbooks, and support device provisioning.

Required Skills

• 3–7 years of network engineering or support experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi technologies and VPN solutions.
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
• Ability to analyze packet traces and troubleshoot connectivity.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or Ansible.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of network security best practices.
