Description

You will manage physical network deployments, circuit maintenance, and hardware support in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Responsibilities

• Perform break-fix tasks including component replacement, cable re-seating, and removable storage swaps.
• Execute physical deployment tasks such as racking, stacking, cabling (fiber/copper/power), and cable management.
• Conduct circuit maintenance by installing SFPs/GBICs, measuring light levels, and performing loop-back testing.
• Maintain equipment integrity through fiber cleaning, connector maintenance, power cycling, and data eradication.
• Manage inventory by labeling assets, recording serial numbers, and exchanging tape backup cassettes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a network administrator role.
• Hands-on experience with networking, routing, and switching.
• Proven ability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware.
• Technical proficiency with CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE certifications.
• Experience with management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
• Associate's degree or technical school emphasis in electronics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with firewall implementation and Internet VPN troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
