Description

Support network infrastructure at remote site locations, focusing on connectivity and system performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Implement security best practices for remote locations, such as firewall policies and secure remote access.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, IP addressing schemes, and equipment inventory.
• Support remote staff with network access issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Collaborate with OT and operations teams to prioritize network requirements at remote sites.

Required Skills

• 2 years of experience in network administration or a related IT support role.
• Proficiency with Cisco or similar network technologies.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Ability to work independently and travel occasionally to remote sites.
• Successful completion of a 7-year background check for NERC CIP environment responsibilities.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
