Description

Manage network security and infrastructure while developing automation tools using Python. You will implement and manage firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), and intrusion detection/prevention technologies to mitigate security threat vectors, including Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. You will collaborate with overseas partners to maintain network and application security, applying cloud security principles and managing Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). You will solve complex networking and security problems independently without direct oversight.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), and intrusion detection/prevention technologies.
• Mitigate security threat vectors including Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
• Collaborate with overseas partners to maintain network and application security.
• Apply cloud security principles and manage Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack.
• Python development experience.
• Experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, R, Ruby, Perl, or PHP.
• Knowledge of network security and application security.
• Understanding of cloud security architecture.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• 5+ years of professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications including CISSP, CCIE, CEH, or CCNA.
• 1-3 years of dedicated programming experience.
