What's the Job?

• Support telephony platform upgrades and related projects on-site in Charlotte, NC
• Develop program schedules, timelines, and communication materials for senior leadership
• Create engineering documentation for fast-moving programs, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), cost estimates, and equipment placement requests
• Provide local software and hardware support for complex integrated configurations such as Session Border Controllers, Security Services, E911, SIP, and Session Management
• Assist in testing, scripting, and designing low-level configurations for telephony and security systems

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of telecommunications experience with a focus on carrier-level technologies
• Deep knowledge of session border controllers, SIP Trunking, and related protocols (RTP/RTCP, ISDN, H.323, MGCP, codecs)
• Experience with QoS configurations, bandwidth analysis, and troubleshooting complex network environments
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking, switches, and routers
• Excellent communication skills, including proficiency with PowerPoint, Visio, and program update reporting
