Description

Support telephony platform upgrades and complex integrated configurations on-site in Charlotte, NC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop program schedules, timelines, and communication materials for senior leadership.
• Create engineering documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), cost estimates, and equipment placement requests.
• Provide local software and hardware support for Session Border Controllers, Security Services, E911, SIP, and Session Management.
• Assist in testing, scripting, and designing low-level configurations for telephony and security systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of telecommunications experience with a focus on carrier-level technologies.
• Deep knowledge of Session Border Controllers, SIP Trunking, and protocols (RTP/RTCP, ISDN, H.323, MGCP, codecs).
• Experience with QoS configurations, bandwidth analysis, and troubleshooting complex network environments.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking, switches, and routers.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Visio, and program update reporting.
