Description

You will own the architecture, administration, and performance of a large-scale Splunk environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand Splunk system architecture, data analytics, and performance across the enterprise.
• Develop and maintain automation tools using Terraform, OpenShift, and Bitbucket for CI/CD workflows.
• Design automation frameworks to optimize software testing and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve technical issues within automation tools and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of expert-level Splunk Architect experience.
• Deep understanding of search head and indexer clustering topology.
• Hands-on Linux and Windows system administration experience.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and regular expressions.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Windows scripting.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and communicate solutions to technology and business groups.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or BladeLogic.
• Experience working in secure, multi-data centre environments.
