Description

You will focus on systems engineering and development within the virtual machine and networking space, with approximately 80% of your time dedicated to hands-on coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems for virtual machines, networking, and infrastructure.
• Integrate open-source products with network and virtualization layers via APIs.
• Engineer solutions within SDN and hypervisor environments.
• Manage network storage and Linux-based systems development.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
• Extensive experience with SDN (Software Defined Networking).
• Deep expertise in virtualization and Hypervisors.
• Strong Linux systems skills and network storage understanding.
• Proven experience working with APIs and open-source product interactions.
• Hands-on experience with VMware or KVM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Openshift, NSX, or KVM.
• Cloud computing experience and familiarity with other open-source products.
