Must-haves:

5 years of experience - hit the ground running doing projects with minimal supervision. 

• Network and Server administration and troubleshooting- will be doing a lot of this kind of work
• Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online migrations
• Veeam backup
• IP mapping and subnetting
• Network segmentation
• Multi-site environment support and consolidation efforts
• Security tools (Darktrace, NDR platforms) – Nice to have

Scope & Immediate Projects:

• SharePoint to Microsoft 365 Migration
  • Complete the unfinished migration of shared files from SharePoint to Microsoft 365.
• Domain & DNS Consolidation
  • Updating domain records and DNS configurations to point to Custom Goods.
• Multi-Site Infrastructure Standardization
  • Multiple buildings operating in mixed environments that need to be consolidated and standardized
  • (7 sites in Carson, 1 in the Inland Empire).
  • Extensive network segmentation work, with some buildings containing 6 to 7 separate subnets
  • The Network Admin will be heavily involved in IP mapping, network switching, subnet changes, and network upgrades across multiple locations. A lot of repetitive network tasks that need to be done accurately and consistently (doing the same task 30 times and doing it right) 
• Darktrace NDR Evaluation & Deployment
  • Assisting with the Darktrace POC, deployment, configuration, and implementation of an NDR solution.
• Network Infrastructure Support & Optimization
  • Supporting and maintaining Palo Alto, Cisco, HP Blades, Aruba Wireless, and Extreme Networks environments.
    • Existing documentation has been heavily developed and maintained using Claude
  • Supporting the move of newly acquired HQ building.
  • Will support all networks and system for all Custom Goods facilities. Need to have good troubleshooting skills with improving wireless coverage, particularly in warehouse and dock areas.
    • End Customer is Warehouse General Manager and he’s not a techie person.  Really need to get the information you need to get their Wi-Fi back up
