Description

Lead complex network design and SD-WAN deployments as a Subject Matter Expert.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy Cisco SD-WAN components including vManage, vSmart, vBond, vEdges, and cEdges.
• Design and implement SD-WAN connectivity to Azure and AWS using cloud SD-WAN routers.
• Define and enforce application-level QoS policies to ensure performance for critical applications.
• Conduct pre-deployment testing across networks with complex requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and document solution designs, configurations, and best practices.

Required Skills

• CCIE certification in Route & Switch, Service Provider, or Data Center Technologies.
• 15+ years of related experience with a BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred).
• Expertise in Cisco SD-WAN solutions on Catalyst platforms.
• Deep knowledge of IP Routing, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, and L3 VPN/VRF-Lite.
• Hands-on experience with LAN Switching, RPVST+, MST, and IPv6.
• Proficiency in multicast and security protocols including PIM, DMVPN, GETVPN, and NetFlow.
• Strong network design skills and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with IP SLAs, PfR, and inter-as routing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, scripting, Linux, and REST APIs for automation and orchestration.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and virtualization technologies.
