Description

You will own the full lifecycle of network incidents, service requests, problems, and changes, ensuring resolution and closure with urgency.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-severity events and represent the team in Change Advisory Board meetings for risk assessment and approval.
• Troubleshoot IP VPN services, routing issues, and faults across Fiber, Copper, and Radio networks.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet) to manage technical escalations and hardware/software issues.
• Communicate technical updates to customers via voice and digital channels, maintaining SLA compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks and architecture records.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in network and infrastructure engineering within enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of customer-facing technical support in NOC or managed services settings.
• Hands-on expertise in Routing, Switching, SD-WAN, and Network Security.
• Proficiency with Cisco and Juniper routers and network devices.
• Experience with Linux, VMware, Splunk, Solarwinds, ServiceCentral, and Magpie.
• Exposure to Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Meraki, Microsoft, F5, Netscaler, Fortigate, and Velocloud.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Telco or ISP environments.
• Knowledge of Network Automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible).
