Description

You will own the maintenance, expansion, and troubleshooting of local and campus area networks, instructional labs, and associated hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and communication gateways.
• Identify and resolve network and component operating problems in coordination with vendors and district staff.
• Manage cloud-based email, collaboration platforms, and directory services including Google and Azure.
• Provide technical expertise for server upgrades, consolidation, and video conferencing solutions.
• Conduct network security assessments and assist with long-range technology planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in networking and technical support.
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments.
• Proficiency with LDAP and directory services.
• Experience managing Azure and Google cloud-based directories.
• Ability to design and implement LAN and campus area networks.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with video conferencing solutions.
• Background in educational or district IT environments.
