Description

You will manage and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure, telephone services, and access layer devices in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and troubleshoot wired and wireless access points, switching, and VPNs.
• Administer voice, voicemail, conference bridge, and 911 location services.
• Monitor and maintain the access layer, call centers, and safety devices.
• Resolve connectivity issues using critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Perform field duties and participate in an on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network administration or field technical duties.
• Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, and Cisco Prime.
• Proficiency with Aruba ClearPass and Airwave.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, DHCP, DNS, and IP Addressing.
• Deep understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, NTP, MLLP, and NDM.
• Experience using Wireshark for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Juniper hardware and VPN configuration.
• Associates degree in IT or equivalent graduation.
