Description

You will manage and support network infrastructure and telecommunications equipment across various site locations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack, cable, and decommission network hardware and power leads.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues by performing DNS lookups, pinging devices, and checking console error messages or hardware status lights.
• Execute IMAC activities for business LAN and voice devices, including patching copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Provide smarthands support for RF, microwave, VSAT, cellular (4G/5G), and LoRaWAN systems.
• Monitor site environments for issues like cooling failures or water leaks and participate in Root Cause Analysis.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with WiFi, IP Telephony (IPT), and Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow for incident management.
• Experience with LoRaWAN and WAN technologies.
• Technical knowledge of cellular-based systems (4G LTE, 5G, NB-IIoT) and LPWAN.
• Ability to maintain specialty telecoms including CCTV, intercom, and fire/intruder alarms.
• Experience with solar panel and battery power system deployment and troubleshooting.
• Competency in fiber optic and copper cable installation and repair.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to respond to ServiceNow incident tickets and adhere to change management and risk management processes.
• Any Graduate education with relevant technical certifications.
