Description

Provide onsite support for data center network stability, capacity management, and hardware rollouts in Hayward, CA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite position audits to ensure cable pathway accuracy and coordinate cabling audits with Quality Assurance.
• Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, interconnectivity, device configuration, and cabling infrastructure issues including patch panels and patch cords.
• Manage work priorities through ticketing systems to complete customer requests and projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-class networks.
• Proficiency in networking, troubleshooting, and patch panels.
• Proven documentation methodology and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Hayward, CA, including an on-call rotation for 24/7 operations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and participate in group lifts for heavier items.
• Capacity to walk job sites on uneven terrain and work safely at heights or from ladders.
• Availability for up to 30% travel within the geographical work area.
