Description

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications and data equipment across customer sites.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, and label telecommunications and data equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, relocate, and test voice and data equipment, wiring, and cables.
• Resolve unscheduled trouble tickets promptly to restore service.
• Execute scheduled work orders and update service orders, cut sheets, and inventory records.
• Manage physical infrastructure including cleaning wire closets (IDFs) and organizing warehouse hardware inventory.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications or data equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on experience testing voice and data equipment.
• Ability to perform wiring, labeling, and cable testing.
• Proficiency in following service orders and maintaining inventory records.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a state vehicle for travel to customer sites.
