Description

You will manage and maintain network hardware and infrastructure to ensure system reliability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer network hardware daily, including switches, firewalls, and routers.
• Plan, coordinate, and install hardware and application software for various operating systems.
• Optimize hardware and software performance to ensure server availability, integrity, and scalability.
• Identify complex system problems and develop effective corrective actions.
• Advise leadership on cost, time, and effort requirements for cyber communication needs.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Network Administration.
• 6+ years of combined experience in Network Implementation, Cybersecurity, Reliability, and Modernization.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco products, including Integrated Series Routers, Cisco DNA, and Cisco IOS.
• Proficiency with firewalls, DNS, VPN, DMVPN, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Experience managing LAN, WLAN, and WAN architectures.
• Technical knowledge of SteelHead WAN Optimizers and Windows servers for load balancing and security.
• Experience using monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and Wireshark.
• Active CompTIA Security+ CE or higher certification.
• Active CCNA or higher certification.
• Must be a US Citizen eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex cyber communication infrastructure planning.
