Description

You will own the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of CPE devices and gateway technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot CPE setups to reproduce bugs from internal, vendor, or customer sources.
• Report and triage hardware and software issues directly with vendors.
• Support CPE firmware rollouts to production environments.
• Perform field issue debugging, including hardware debugging and log collection using tcpdump/pcap.
• Assist with field installation and setup troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network testing or related engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting router gateways.
• Deep understanding of LAN connectivity concepts including NAT, DHCP, DNS, and DMZ.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
• Experience testing wireless technologies, specifically 802.11ac and 802.11ax.
• Working knowledge of wireless mesh technology for coverage.
• Basic working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and bug reproduction.
• Ability to collect and analyze logs using pcap.
