Description

Manage and maintain enterprise telephony systems and voice infrastructure.

You will own the day-to-day operations, incident management, and monitoring of Avaya systems, while configuring and troubleshooting voice and voicemail applications across Avaya, Cisco, and Zoom platforms. You will perform MDF/IDF cabling and patching for legacy digital and analog phones and collaborate with telecom service providers and OEM vendors to resolve issues. You will document operating instructions, procedures, and management information reports.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot Avaya, Cisco, and Zoom voice and voicemail applications.
• Manage incident response and monitoring to minimize system downtime.
• Perform MDF/IDF cabling and patching for legacy digital and analog phones.
• Collaborate with telecom service providers and OEM vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Document operating instructions, procedures, and management information reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in voice networking and telephony.
• Hands-on experience with Avaya Communication Manager.
• Proficiency with Cisco and Zoom voice platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting legacy digital and analog phone systems.
• Knowledge of MDF/IDF cabling and patching requirements.
• Ability to manage incidents and ensure system availability.
• Experience working with telecom service providers and OEM vendors.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
