Description

You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of enterprise wireless network connectivity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure WLAN connectivity between IT systems and physical infrastructure using DNA Center, 9800 WLCs, and ISE.
• Deploy wireless infrastructure, design heat maps, and manage site surveys utilizing Cisco DNA Center and Ekahau.
• Perform firmware upgrades at the hardware layer and apply software patches for 9800 WLCs and Access Points.
• Manage incident, change, and problem tickets within SLA requirements to restore business services and implement temporary workarounds.
• Lead meetings regarding compliance and future design requirements for client wireless infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wireless networking and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency with Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for deployment, troubleshooting, and design.
• Hands-on experience with 9800 WLCs, NAC Servers, and Cisco ISE.
• Strong knowledge of switches, access points, and SSID traffic flows (Corporate, BYOD, Guest).
• Technical understanding of 802.1x Authentication, CAPWAP tunnels, Mobility tunnels, and DTLS.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Site Tags, and Radio Plans.
• Experience with Ekahau Site Surveys and heat map design.
• Proven ability to manage incident, change, and problem management processes.
