Description

You will develop security features and resolve critical technical issues for Network Access Control and Endpoint Compliance products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer escalation issues and identify root causes through data investigation and reproduction.
• Develop software code changes to resolve defects and improve product stability and supportability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers on troubleshooting methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development Engineering and Customer Support.
• Suggest improvements to product supportability and work within a Kanban development methodology.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in software development or sustaining engineering.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Java programming.
• Experience with Linux/Unix development and system environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with Perl and Linux scripting languages including regular expressions, awk, and sed.
• Solid grasp of software engineering concepts and techniques.
• Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
