Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Networking Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise, networking and cloud network technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, with a focus on GCP, VPC, DNS and Terraform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network architect, cloud connectivity, infrastructure automation, network security, and troubleshooting complex networking issues. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot GCP Networking  components and cloud connectivity.
• Work extensively with GCP, VPC, including subnets, routes, firewall rules, and related networking services
• COnfigure and manage DNS Services, including DNS records, zones, and resolution and troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. 
• Support COnnectivity between on-premises environments and GCP Cloud infrastructure
• Troubleshoot Network connectivity, routing, DNS, latency, and performance related issues. 
• Collaborate with Cloud, Devops, Security and Application teams to implement networking solutions.
• Develop reusable and maintainable Terraform Modules/configurations for network infrastructure.
• Ensure network infrastructure follows security, availabiility, scalability, and reliability best practices.
• Participate in network design reviews, implementation activities, and incident / problem resolution. 
• Maintain Technical documentation, network diagrams, configurations and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

• 6 - 9 years of experience in Networking / Network Engineering.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with GCP Networking.
• Strong knowledge of GCP VPC, subnets, routes, firewall rules and network and network connectivity.
• Good understanding of DNS concepts, DNS resolution, zones, records and troubleshooting. 
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in Automating cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Understanding of CLoud Networking and hybrid connectivity concepts.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams
