Description

You will execute physical infrastructure tasks within data center environments, including server deployment and hardware maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Rack and stack servers, switches, routers, and cameras.
• Install and manage Ethernet, fiber, and power cabling.
• Diagnose hardware issues and replace components such as disk drives and memory.
• Perform fiber work including scoping, cleaning, and light meter testing.
• Manage hardware assets, including unboxing equipment and processing overdue RMAs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center environments.
• Hands-on experience with optical fiber and cabling.
• Proficiency in technical support and hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 50-70 pounds and move equipment for several continuous hours or days.
• Experience coordinating with ISPs and equipment vendors.
• Capability to work night and weekend shifts as required.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with camera hardware deployment.
