Description

You will provide on-site support for the Network Field Services team, focusing primarily on physical infrastructure installation.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test CAT5/6 network cabling as the primary duty.
• Perform fiber optic cabling installation, including splicing and testing.
• Deploy IP camera systems and network switch hardware.
• Travel throughout the state to various buildings, which may include working in attics, crawl spaces, and office environments.
• Operate state-owned vehicles for travel to remote locations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in CAT5/6 network cable installation, termination, and testing.
• 3+ years of experience in fiber optic cable installation, termination, splicing, and testing.
• Experience working in diverse physical environments including attics and crawl spaces.
• Ability to travel extensively, including early starts and late finishes.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Cisco switch configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IP camera systems.
