Description

You will support the Network Field Services team by installing physical network infrastructure across various locations in Raleigh, NC. You will install, terminate, and test CAT5/6 cabling, perform fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing, and deploy IP camera systems and network switches. Work requires navigating diverse environments including attics and crawl spaces, with extensive travel using state-owned vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test CAT5/6 network cabling.
• Perform fiber optic cable installation, termination, splicing, and testing.
• Deploy IP camera systems and network switch hardware.
• Navigate diverse physical environments including attics and crawl spaces.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with CAT5/6 network cable installation, termination, and testing.
• 3+ years of experience with fiber optic cable installation, termination, splicing, and testing.
• Experience working in physical environments such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Ability to travel extensively, including early starts and late finishes.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with IP camera systems.
• Experience with Cisco switch configuration and troubleshooting.
