Description

Monitor the AT&T Esinet within a 24/7 Network Operations Center to ensure network stability and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network issues and identify resolutions from a central location.
• Provide incident response while maintaining current SLAs.
• Communicate with site technicians and customers to track problems through to resolution.
• Maintain organized documentation of all technical issues and resolutions.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Proficiency with systems firewalls and switches.
• Knowledge of Juniper, VMWare, Microsoft, or Cisco products.
• Understanding of network cabling, network classification, and network topology.
• Experience with networking, operating systems, anti-virus, and back-ups.
• Strong technical writing skills for documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple support cases simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VOIP technologies.
• Previous experience working in a NOC environment.
