Description

You will own the concept-to-commercialization lifecycle for new internal feeding devices within the Digestive Health Business Unit.

Responsibilities

• Convert user needs into engineering requirements and feasible technical solutions.
• Lead small NPD and technology development projects through the stage-gate process.
• Design and develop components, products, processes, fixtures, and test methods.
• Execute prototyping, verification, and reliability test planning.
• Create engineering specifications, drawings, work instructions, and technical reports.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in product development or engineering.
• Experience with design control activities and stage-gate processes.
• Knowledge of materials and processes used in medical devices.
• Ability to navigate the intellectual property landscape for filings and protection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Project Management skills.
• Understanding of regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Ability to conduct voice of customer and customer-centric design activities.
