Description

Lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers to design, maintain, and optimize high-availability distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and mentor a team of SREs through goal setting and performance reviews.
• Oversee the design of high-availability systems and lead performance monitoring efforts.
• Drive automation and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage observability by deploying New Relic, developing dashboards, and configuring alerts.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and refine incident response processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing SRE or related teams in e-commerce or highly distributed environments.
• Proficiency with automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with observability solutions, specifically New Relic.
• Strong background in optimizing Java-based applications and Spring Boot services.
• Experience managing Kafka message brokers and distributed middleware.
• Technical knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Python and Linux environments.
• Understanding of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and network infrastructure like load balancers and firewalls.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating SAP modules with custom applications or microservices.
