Description

You will manage the transition from State Enterprise PeopleSoft to the NexGen Workday application.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agency-level project implementation with Workday ERP service providers and Finance/HR business units.
• Align ERP transition activities with the state transition project schedule.
• Facilitate meetings with Finance, HR, and Procurement subject matter experts for stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor project performance, track issues, and report status to agency leadership.
• Conduct formal testing reviews with business leaders to confirm acceptance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT project or program management experience.
• Proven experience leading high-complexity projects within the last 2 years.
• Direct experience with Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) transitions, specifically Workday.
• PMP certification from PMI or an equivalent project management certification.
• Expert proficiency in MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Office Business Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with NextGen Workday implementation.
• Experience working in state government.
