Description

You will manage the agency’s transition from the State Enterprise PeopleSoft system to the NexGen (Workday) application.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agency-level ERP transition activities with state service providers and Finance and HR business units.
• Align agency rollout activities with the state’s PeopleSoft/Workday transition project schedule.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and ensure timely communication of project activities across the agency.
• Monitor project performance, track milestones, and report status or schedule risks to leadership.
• Conduct formal testing reviews with business leaders to confirm system acceptance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT project or program management or equivalent IT team leadership experience.
• 3+ years managing an enterprise NextGen Workday implementation.
• 2+ years of direct experience with Workday (NextGen) rollouts.
• 5 years of experience leading high-complexity projects, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
• Experience working in state government.
• PMI PMP certification or equivalent (must provide certification).
• Expert proficiency in MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Office Business Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or specialized training.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree.
