Description

You will architect and implement security controls for NG911 and Public Safety ESINET systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy security architectures compliant with NENA, APCO, and City of New York governance models.
• Configure and manage IDS/IPS, DNS security policies, and firewall rules.
• Review vendor designs to ensure alignment with PSAAP security requirements and public safety infrastructure standards.
• Lead incident resolution and manage test cases for system integration risks.
• Assess and enforce Active Directory security roles and policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Expertise in IPS/IDS design.
• Expertise in SIP security design.
• Hands-on experience with ESINET and NG911 system security.
• Ability to troubleshoot Level 3 security issues in public safety environments.
• Knowledge of PSAAP security requirements.
• Degree in any field.
